The territory of Croatia extends over 56.610 km ² in the northwest of the Balkan peninsula. Widely opened on the Adriatic on the West, the country is lined in the North by Slovenia and Hungary, in the East by Serbia and Vojvodine and in the South by Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
The Croatian coast counts 1.778 km of continental coast(ribs) and 5.790 km with islands (more than 1000), and is characterized by a Mediterranean climate: the average temperatures go of 7°C in February in 26°C during the months summer and the precipitation are there low(weak). The coast(rib) is besides separated from the country by an impressive mountainous barrier training(forming) a part(party) of the dinariques Alps: we count about twenty mountainous peaks of more than 1000 meters in height, the peak being situated in the Peak of Dinara in 1.830 m of height. The river system mainly consists of Save, tributary of the Danube, 945 km long, among which 562 in Croatia; of Drave, 707 km river, among which 505 km in Croatia, her(it) also throws(casts) itself into the Danube; the Danube, the river of 2.857 km, among which 188 in Croatia.

a) Zagreb

Numerous musical and cultural activities take place there in summer period.
C) Osijek
Located at 30 kilometers from Hungary and less than 20 kilometers of the border of Serbia, Osijek is the capital of Slavonia. She(it) counts a little more than 100.000 inhabitants and is sprayed by Drave. For a long time under Turkish then Hungarian dominion, she(it) kept(guarded) of these times(periods) of the remarkable architectural tracks.
D) Dubrovnik
